Future continuous tense is also called Future progressive tense. It is used to express the continuous actions happen in the future in a particular time.

Future continuous is used for the activity continues from one time to another.

For Example:

I will be eating dinner from Six o’clock to 6:30.

Note: I’m talking about the situation now and I’m thinking about an activity that occurs within this time range.

Future continuous tense Structure:

Affirmative sentences:

Sub + will+be + verb-ing

  • I will be playing tomorrow.
  • We will be playing tomorrow.
  • You will be playing tomorrow.
  • He will be playing tomorrow.
  • She will be playing tomorrow.
  • They will be playing tomorrow.

Short form example: 

  • I’ll be playing tomorrow.
  • We’ll will be playing tomorrow.
  • You’ll will be playing tomorrow.
  • He’ll be playing tomorrow.

Negative sentences:

Sub + will+ not+ be + verb-ing

  • I will not playing soccer tomorrow.
  • We will not  be playing tomorrow.
  • You will not  be playing tomorrow.
  • He will not be playing tomorrow.
  • She will not be playing tomorrow.
  • They will not be playing tomorrow.

Short Form:

  • I won’t be playing tomorrow.
  • We won’t be playing tomorrow.
  • You won’t be playing tomorrow.
  • He won’t be playing tomorrow.

Interrogative sentences:

Will+Sub+be+verb-ing

  • Will I be playing tomorrow?
  • Will we be playing tomorrow?
  • Will she be playing tomorrow?
  • Will he be playing tomorrow?
  • Will they be playing tomorrow?

Uses of Future continuous tense:

#1 Continuous actions in future:
   I will be watching TV tomorrow. 

#2. For future interrupted actions:
     He will be waiting for the guests when they arrive.

#3. Future parallel actions:
      Ali will be singing while Sufyan will be studying. 

Future Continuous Tense Example sentences:

  1. I’ll be working in my office.
  2. I won’t be doing anything.
  3. I will be leaving you.
  4. The children will be studying.
  5. Your brother will be waiting for you.
  6. Who will be waiting for you?
  7. Won’t we visiting Dubai next  Sunday?
  8. It will be raining tomorrow.
  9. They won’t be playing. 
  10. Sufyan will be watching the cartoon.
