TYPES OF PHRASE:

The phrase that features a preposition in it. It’s called a prepositional phrase. For example, near a gate, on the table.
ADJECTIVE PHRASE:
The Phrase that acts as an adjective in a sentence. This type of phrase is called an adjective phrase. As an example, He gave me a cup full of tea.

ADVERB PHRASE:

VERB PHRASE:
The phrase Contains a Group of verbs and the helping verb is called a verb phrase. For instance, He is writing a letter.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CLAUSE AND PHARES
A clause is a group of words in a sentence that contains a subject and a verb. And a phrase is a group of words in a sentence that does not have a subject and a verb. In a sentence, the part with the subject and a verb is called a clause. And the other part is a phrase.
